PROJECT SHOWCASE

GT-IDEA Database Case Competition

Indiana University Kelley ACE Student | The Computer in Business Honors Course

PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of the GT-IDEA Case Competition, I worked alongside a team of four students to design and build a fully functional database in Microsoft Access to help Georgia Tech streamline and organize activity tracking for its GT-IDEA initiative. I contributed extensively to both the back-end architecture—structuring tables, queries, and relationships—and the front-end interface, where I imported visual components from Adobe Illustrator to improve usability. We presented our complete solution to stakeholders from GT and Indiana University’s K201/K204 instructional teams, where our project was recognized for its robust design, technical execution, and user-focused experience.
